Hyundai Motor America Donation - CHOC Children's
Hope On Wheels and Hyundai Motor America presented the second installment worth $2 million and part of a $10 million commitment to CHOC Children’s to fund groundbreaking cancer research at the Hyundai Cancer Institute at CHOC Children’s. To commemorate the event, Hope On Wheels hosted its signature Handprint Ceremony. CHOC Children’s Announces 2011 Campaign Ambassador

CHOC Children’s proudly announces 13-year-old cancer patient Tommaso “Tommy” Conforti as the 2011 CHOC Children’s Campaign Ambassador. Tommy was selected as one of three finalists through an application process, before securing the community’s support (and the most votes) through online voting. In his role as Ambassador, Tommy will represent CHOC and share his personal experience at various events, helping to engage the community in the “Change CHOC, Change the World” campaign.
